Compare hourly and overnight parking so you can choose the option that fits your schedule.

An RV parking space transitioning from daylight with a clock to nighttime with a calendar, representing hourly and overnight stays.

Vanly hosts may offer overnight parking, hourly parking, or both. Each booking type has its own schedule, price, availability, stay limits, and optional amenities. This guide explains what to compare before making your selection.

Before you begin

  • Your planned arrival date and time

  • An estimated departure time or number of nights

  • Your vehicle information

  • A Vanly account when you are ready to book

Step 1: Compare hourly and overnight Vanly stays

Start with the parking options

A listing may offer Hourly parking, Overnight parking, or both. Look for the available parking types on the listing card and listing page. If only one type is shown, the other type is not currently offered for that listing.

Overnight stays

Overnight parking is intended for stays that continue through the night.

  • Select your arrival and departure dates.

  • Review the host’s check-in and checkout information.

  • Pricing is calculated by night, and nightly rates can vary by date.

  • The listing may have a minimum or maximum number of nights.

  • A long-stay, weekly, or monthly discount may apply when offered.

  • Review the overnight amenities, experiences, and stay policy.

Hourly stays

Hourly parking is intended for shorter stays where you arrive and leave within a selected period.

  • Select the parking date, available start time, and duration.

  • Vanly will display the calculated checkout time.

  • Pricing is calculated by the hour.

  • The host determines the minimum and maximum hourly duration.

  • An hourly duration discount may apply when offered.

  • Coupons are not currently available for hourly bookings.

  • Review the hourly amenities, experiences, and stay policy.

Compare amenities and optional experiences

Available amenities and experiences can differ between hourly and overnight parking. Some are included, while optional items may be charged as a flat fee, per hour, or per night.

Only select extras that apply to your stay and vehicle.

Review the complete price

Before continuing, review the price breakdown for the selected booking type.

The total can include:

  • The hourly or nightly parking charge

  • Paid amenities or experiences

  • The Vanly service fee

  • Applicable duration or long-stay discounts

  • The final Total in USD

Changing the dates, duration, booking type, or selected extras can change the total.

Understand how the booking is confirmed

The listing will tell you whether the selected stay type supports instant booking or requires host approval.

  • Request to Book: The request is sent to the host, and your card is charged only if the host accepts.

  • Instant booking: Your card is charged when you confirm the booking.

Review everything before submitting

Confirm the booking type, dates or hours, vehicle, price, cancellation policy, and payment method. Once confirmed, use Trips to view the booking status and available arrival information.

Tip: If a listing offers both options, compare the complete totals—not only the displayed hourly or nightly rate.

Important: Do not select hourly parking for an overnight stay. Your vehicle must leave by the checkout time shown on the confirmed booking.

You’re ready

You can now choose between hourly and overnight parking based on your schedule. Before booking, review the selected stay type, arrival and departure information, listing rules, included amenities, cancellation policy, and complete price.
